There are many fun boutiques to shop in San Anselmo and Greenbrae. California cacti and succulents are found at the Cactus Jungle, unique and culturally inspired jewelry at Reflections, and extraordinary clothing at Blanc.

Things to Do

Residents of San Anselmo and Greenbrae find many things to occupy their time. Live On The Avenue Music Series is a casual summer event that occurs from June to October each year. Residents gather for refreshments and an evening of quality music from local and well-known artists. Another summer event is the San Anselmo Art and Wine Festival. Under the bright sunny mountains, next to the crystal clear brook, friends and family gather for a day of wine tasting and art appreciation.

Another fantastic holiday event is the Holiday Lighting Ceremony. Each year at the start of December, residents gather for the magical holiday lights, free refreshments, and music by various artists. Select stores stay open late so patrons can take their time doing holiday shopping.

Residents enjoy nature by going for hikes. Among the many trails in the area is The Sorich/ Tomahawk Trail. It is a 2.1-mile loop that takes roughly an hour to complete. It’s great for hiking with friends, family, and even leashed dogs.
